Education continues to be the hope for millions of young people around the world. Quality education unfortunately is only the reality for a relatively small number of young people around the world. Yet billions of dollars are spent every year on practices that are at times often wasteful, inefficient and in some cases even stifle youthful creativity and curiosity. Educators need to do more to provide learning experiences that turn that youthful hope into reality.
Excellence in Education 2012 has assembled a distinguished group of innovative educators to share their ideas and enthusiasm and build a network of educators that are passionate about doing it better.

On behalf of the conference committees of the 6th International Conference on “Excellence in Education 2012”, I am delighted to welcome you to Dubai, which is proud to be the host for this Conference. The International Centre for Innovation in Education (ICIE) is honoured to organize this highly regarded international event in partnership with the Dubai Women’s College.
We are working to construct a conference that will inspire your understanding of excellence in basic and higher education in general and gifted education in particular. This conference has been growing from strength to strength in recent years, and we are keen to see this trend continue by expanding not only the number of national and international participant, but also the range and value of the services, facilities, and the activities that we offer at the conference. It is designed for participants who seek a broad interdisciplinary view of excellence in education.
